Side by side as strangers on the subway
Yet somehow without the pleasantries.
Two better known to each other in absence
Snow White and Rose Red.
Time lets bitter taste fade from the mouth
And juicy berries of memories
Colour the tongue
With bright delight.
Hurts will fall from mind
But love remains in the heart.
